Carlo Forini, director of business development & product management Europe, said: “This is a completely new model designed from the ground up to offer a great combination of lightweight, compact dimensions and ‘up-and-over’ lift capabilities, combined with powerful drive motors. Our customers are demanding versatile boom lifts for sensitive indoor tasks that are also capable of meeting general outdoor maintenance applications. Although this product was developed for the European market, it is a new generation of Genie boom lift that offers features and capabilities suited to customers all over the world.”

Genie has also started production of its compact rough-terrain GTH-2506 telehandler with Stage IIIB compliant Deutz TD 2.9 L4 diesel engine. The smallest model in the company’s range weighing just over 4.5 tonnes, the GTH-2506 has a maximum lift height of 5.79 metres and a reach of 3.35 metres. Lift capacity at maximum height is two tonnes.
