Spotted on the drive in roof

Washing roofs has become a regular and increasingly popular activity in several countries, and while some operators employ safety measures, many do not and given the fact that employees are removing moss and other slippery contaminants with water on a sloped surface at height - the chance of a fall and serious injury is relatively high.

In this case we are delighted to say that our correspondent did go into the establishment – known for its golden arches - and asked to see the manager, in order to inform him of the risks and the alternatives available. Hopefully his advice was then heeded? UPDATE we hear that the job was indeed stopped while the manager considered alternative access methods.

Did he tell him to 'burger off?' The usual response to a concerned enquiry regarding safety.....
