Fatal power line contact

A man was electrocuted yesterday after he came into contact with a 7,200 volt power line while using a bucket truck in Kansas.

The incident occurred in the town of Pratt to the west of Wichita, while 58 year old Eric Notter, owner of Notter Tree Trimming Services, was working on trees from the aerial lift. He was rescued from the platform and transported to the local hospital where he died from his injuries.
