Terex Utilities adds cobra-style jib

Terex has introduced a new cobra-style jib for its Hi-Range TL and LTM articulated telescopic aerial devices.

Weighing 270kg the new articulated jib can either be end or top mounted and offers a maximum lift capacity just over 450kg. An additional bearing on top of a Kingpost socket allows for rotation and a poppet valve automatically prevents damage should the jib make contact with the boom.

Available on all platforms measuring 610mm by 1.22 metres, the jib can be quickly retracted into its stowed position. In this position the aerial lift has full the utilisation of its working envelope down to minus 40 degrees.
