New Kobelco for Daniel Smith

New Zealand crane rental company and civil engineering contractor Daniel Smith Industries has taken delivery of a new 250 tonne Kobelco CKS2500 crawler crane.

The new crane is the ninth new Kobelco the company has purchased over the past eight years, with its Kobelco fleet ranging from a 55 tonne BM600/7055 to a 550 tonne SL6000. The new crane is destined for a project an hour south of Christchurch where a new powdered milk plant is being constructed.

The crane was supplied through Australian Crane & Machinery (ACM) and Daniel Smith said: “We chose the Kobelco for this project for its performance, quality and reliability.”
