Palfinger P200A for Slovenia

Transmission network system operator ELES has taken delivery of the first 20 metre Palfinger P200A in Slovenia.

Developed and manufactured by Palfinger Platforms Italy in Modena, the P200A offers 8.4 metres of outreach and a 200kg platform capacity. Mounted for the first time on a 5.5 tonne 4x4 Mercedes Sprinter, the P200A has been fitted with a 1,000-volt isolated platform and will be used for the maintenance of local power lines.

Matevž Bijol, commercial director of Palfinger’s local distributor Bijol, said: “The machine is very simple, compact and in this case has great security. In this instance it simply has the right price/performance ratio.”
