Tadano ATF90G-4 for Austin

Texas based Austin Crane Service has collected its first 90 tonne Tadano ATF 90G-4 All Terrain crane in from the manufacturer’s location in Houston, Texas.

The four axle crane is equipped with a six section 51.2 metre main boom and a 10 to 18 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with hydraulic luffing from zero to 40 degrees. It also features a tilting superstructure cab, twin oil coolers and Tadano’s AML-C automatic moment limiter.

The new crane went directly to work on a project in downtown Austin, working inside street barricades with narrow lane closures.
Austin Crane Service owner Larry Taylor said “The manufacturer put a lot of thought into the design of this crane. Our operators love working with it. The hydraulic luffer and the turning radius are a huge plus when getting in and out of and working on confined job sites.”
