Mainline places £1.3m order

UK based rental company Mainline Access and Training has placed an order worth £1.3 million with AJ Access Platforms for a number of boom and scissor lifts.

The order comprises of Genie and JLG boom lifts, including Genie Z-135/70, S85s and S65s and JLG’s 1250 and 800 AJs - the majority of which have been fitted with secondary guarding systems. The order also includes a number of Holland Lift 165s and 195s scissor lifts.

Mainline director Carole Williams, said: “Whilst Mainline supplies a variety of access machines for virtually all requirements we have developed a very positive demand for the larger machines. There are only a few machines in the country of this type and we plan to the number one supplier by the end of the year.”

The company also said it is increasing its low level access fleet with BoSS, Genie and Haulotte products.

Based in Swadlincote, Derbyshire, Mainline operates from a network of nine branches located in Burton upon Trent, Derby, Birmingham, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leicester, Coventry, Stoke on Trent and Stafford.
