German crane rental company Gebr. Markewitsch has taken delivery of the 50th Grove GMK6400 All Terrain crane.

The 400 tonne GMK6400 features a 60 metre main boom and a 134 metre maximum tip height when combined with its luffing jib. It also features a 12x8 drivetrain, Grove’s self-rigging Mega WingLift system and uses a single superstructure mounted engine.

The crane carried out its first job lifting pre-fabricated steel bridge sections weighing 40 tonnes and measuring 18 metres long at a job site near Nuremberg, Germany.
