Another brick in the wall...

A Vertikal.net reader has sent us an example of a loader crane unloading a pallet of bricks which flies in the face of good practice.

The reader does not say where or when the picture was taken, however the picture shows two men on the back of the truck helping to unload pallets of bricks using a loader crane.

Neither of the men is wearing any PPE and no fall protection has been provided. In fact it looks as though one of the men has slipped from the truck and has had to grab the loader crane’s hook to prevent him falling. To make matters worse they are not using outrigger mats either.

Definitely one for our Death Wish series :-) – enjoy the weekend!

Don't lego of the crane hook!

This is a powerful lesson to all of us. I think the LinkedIn forums could pick this apart and make it last at least a month!!
