Pierluigi Guarneri

Eurotecno was founded in 1990 near Cremona to rent truck mounted and then self-propelled lifts, as well as other equipment to service the local market as the rental market in Italy expanded.

Guarneri spotted the potential and began to build up his business, adding the highly successful training company Serfin which won an IPAF award in 2010. More recently he added a van rental operation Sliverrent. He also expanded to three locations – Cremona, Parma and Cagliari, Sardinia.

Always with a smile and a twinkle in his eye, Perluigi Guarneri was one of the most likable people in the powered access industry. Quiet, polite and with good sense of humour, he was a popular participant in the Italian powered access market. His passing is a great loss and he will be missed by many.

His funeral was held in Cremona on Friday.
