Palfinger Sany to launch truck crane

Palfinger Sany Mobile Cranes will launch a 25 tonne truck mounted crane at the CCT show in Moscow, Russia tomorrow.

The telescopic SPC250 is available on a 6x4 Kamaz-65115 or a 6x6 Kamaz-43118 chassis and is aimed at the Russian and CIS market. Russian truck manufacturer Kamaz has been appointed as its sales, service and production partner with the company responsible for mounting Palfinger Sany’s superstructure onto the chassis at its facility Tymazy, as well as providing all after sales, service and repairs.

Details on its capabilities and dimensions have not been released however Palfinger Sany claims the crane has “excellent lifting and stability performance in all working positions due to the tailor-made sub-frame”.

The SPC250 is the first model in the SPC series with the company saying it plans to launch further models with lifting capabilities up to 50 tonnes within the next six months.

Kamaz general manager Sergej Kogogin said: “Cooperations between companies like Palfinger, Sany and Kamaz make it possible to offer unique and customised products to end-users. The combination of our Kamaz chassis, which is adapted to the local conditions, and the crane upper structures of Palfinger Sany is a perfect example. I am convinced that together we will be able to take the leading position in the segment of truck-mounted telescopic cranes on commercial chassis in the CIS market.”
