Crane slips off road

Several of you have emailed us to pass on the details of a widely reported traffic incident in the UK yesterday involving a mobile crane.

The stricken crane

The crane a Liebherr mobile self-erecting tower crane, owned and operated by Ainscough Crane Hire, appears to have skidded off the road onto the soft verge. As far as one no one else was involved and no one was hurt.
