As we have already reported the range comprises three base models, all of them with four wheel drive.

- The HA16 RTJ O with the same specification as the RTJ, but the addition of an oscillating axle,
- The HA16 RTJ PRO with four wheel steering, oscillating axle, 360 degree continuous slew and in Europe the company’s Activ’Shield Bar secondary guarding system.

The new HA16s offer a maximum outreach of 8.3 metres with an up & over clearance of 7.65 metres. Speed to full height is just 40 seconds, helped by true multifunction operation, including drive - steer and slew, or slew - boom and riser elevate, telescope out and jib articulation.

The new HA16s are said to retain the off road capability of the model it replaces, with 380mm of ground clearance, no slip differential with a manually operated lock and 40 percent gradeability. The tyres on the new machines are solid, rather than poly filled, which the company says last longer and are more environmentally friendly.

A new Kubota power unit is much cleaner and more efficient, but also includes a variable speed control that is said to of lower noise levels, while reducing fuel consumption by 15 percent. All pivot pins have a special treatment that, according to Haulotte, will triple their effective life.

The covers are new and reinforced with a metal sub-frame and of a modular design allowing parts to be replaced, rather than the whole cover, when damaged. The platform is also modular.
