New Manitowoc crawlers for Bigge

Bigge Crane and Lifting has confirmed the purchase of two of Manitowoc’s new MLC300 and MLC650 crawler cranes, both of which were launched at Conexpo, last month.

The 300 tonne MLC300 and 650 tonne MLC650 both feature the manufacturer’s Variable Position Counterweight (VPC) system that automatically positions the crane’s counterweight to suit the required lift and keep the overall weight balanced over the tracks.

Bigge marketing manager Ryan Parker said: “We believe these two crawler cranes might set the new standard with their upgrades to weight balance, line pull and capacity. They are ideal for energy-related projects, including refineries, petrochemical installations, and power plants, as well as infrastructure applications.”
