Four ZEDs for Schöttker

German access rental company Schöttker has taken delivery of four 20 metre CTE ZED 20.2 HV truck mounted aerial lifts from the manufacturer’s German/Austrian distributor Hematec.

Mounted on a 3.5 tonne chassis the ZED 20.2 HV offers a maximum outreach of 9.2 metres with a 300kg platform capacity. Features include a double sigma type riser, electro-hydraulic proportional controls and a 130 degree platform rotation. Last year the company also revised the machine’s working envelope when set up in its narrow outrigger configuration – see: CTE revises ZED 20.2 capabilities.

In the narrow configuration the lift can now maintain its full 300kg capacity at its maximum outreach of 9.2 metres within an 80 degree arc over the rear of the truck – 40 degrees either side of centre. Over the side outreach with 300kg remains limited to 5.5 metres however it can offer its full reach with a reduced platform capacity of 120kg.
