IPS appoints dealer manager

IPS, the UK based International supplier of replacement parts and after-sales services has appointed Lee McCarthy as its new dealer manager.

Based at the company’s headquarters in Telford he will be responsible developing the company’s international parts sales through expansion and development of the IPS Parts Partners network. He is now the chief point of contact for IPS Parts Partners, with wide-ranging account management responsibilities. Prior to his appointment McCarthy had worked in the automotive industry as parts manager for Audi and Peugeot.

Kevin Shadbolt, operations director of IAPS Group, said: “Lee’s appointment demonstrates our level of commitment to our global Parts Partner network. He is a highly experienced individual with excellent account management skills. We have a lot more global development in the pipeline so I am confident that Lee will be a busy man. We are in discussions with several more potential partners and are always keen to hear propositions from interested parties.”

IPS’s Parts Partners programme offers full range of replacement parts for access platforms and material lifts in a partner’s assigned territory. IPS currently has direct sales operations in the UK and France, as well as several established Parts Partners across Europe and in Australia. Most recently it appointed KK Materiel in Denmark and Dromad Hire in Ireland.
