Two lifts collide

An unusual road accident occurred in thick fog in the UK yesterday, involving two identical truck mounted lifts.

The two lifts were clearly following each other early yesterday morning on the A421 near Chawston, Bedfordshire. The cab of the second truck, was significantly damaged as it ploughed into the boom of the first truck mount. The driver was extracted by the emergency services and taken to a hospital in Cambridge for emergency treatment. He was said to be suffering from a life-threatening leg injury.
