New appointments at Manitowoc

Manitowoc announced further appointments at Conexpo which follow on from the major restructuring moves towards a product line structure that it announced in February.

Larry Weyers who became global executive vice president for all products along with the global sales and marketing operation said: “Over the past month we’ve worked hard to build the best possible team to serve all facets of our relationship with customers. That runs from the initial introduction with new customers, through the product development process, on to supporting them with the best service and then retaining them with a combination of innovative new machines and superior customer care. As part of that we’ve not only selected highly experienced and talented team members for new positions, we’ve also re-evaluated our processes to ensure we’re doing the best we can for our customers. I believe we’re now in great shape to serve our customers even better than we have before.”
