Andy Laking of Joint Venture said: “The durability, performance and engineering quality of the Airo machines elevates them well above the standard booms and scissors currently available in the UK. These are high quality machines bring real benefits to certain niche applications in the industrial sector. For example, galvanised baskets significantly reduce wear and tear, which is passed on as a cost to the end user and requires substantial down time for rental companies while repairs or refurbishments are carried out.”

Tigieffe manufactures Airo branded self-propelled booms, scissor and spider lifts at a 13,000 square metre facility in Italy. The company is also co-operates with Chinese manufacturer JCHI (Beijing Jingcheng Heavy Industry) which holds a stake in the business.
