Ramirent Poland loses MD

Ramirent’s senior vice president, Poland - Tomasz Walawender - has left the business after 13 years with the company in order “to pursue his career outside Ramirent”.

Mikael Kämpe, executive vice president of Europe Central has been appointed acting managing director of Ramirent Poland from today.

Tomasz Walawender

Walawender joined Ramirent in 2001 as country manager for Poland and from 2007 to May 2013 he also headed the group’s Europe Central region - see: Management changes at Ramirent.

Ramirent chief executive Magnus Rosén said: "I wish to thank Tomasz for his committed work and contribution to the development of this group during many exciting and demanding years. Tomasz has played an integral part in developing our market leading position and network in Poland. I wish him all the best for the future."
