H&E opens Texas branch

Crane and access distributor and rental company H&E Equipment has opened a new branch in Lubbock, Taxas.

The 6,000 square metre facility, which is situated on a 15 acre site, includes offices, a parts warehouse and a large equipment yard. It also features a six-bay repair facility for a variety of machines ranging from compact construction equipment to large cranes.

The branch will specialise in aerial lifts, telehandlers and general construction equipment as well as provide new and used equipment sales, a comprehensive parts inventory and training facilities. Its Manitowoc, Grove and Manitex crane products and services however will continue to be provided by its branch in Dallas.

Marty Emigh, H&E vice president operations and expansion, said: “We are extremely pleased to increase our presence in west Texas and expand into the Lubbock market. This area has a strong and diverse economy, including energy, healthcare and education, along with commercial and residential construction.”
