New service manager for Al Laith

Dubai based access specialist Al Laith has appointed Michael Donnolly as service manager in preparation for the retirement of Ray Parker.

Donnolly has a great deal of experience in the motor trade having worked with Saab, Hummer and Nissan dealer Alec Mildren, in Artarmon, New South Wales- Australia. More recently he has worked with several motor dealerships in the United Arab Emirates.

In his new role he will be responsible for of Al Laith's entire aerial work platform rental fleet as well as all company vehicles. He is also taking on responsibility for much of Al Laith's mobile plant. He is assisted by technical service manager Veettil Pavithran.

Parker, retires after seven years with Al Laith, during which time the company experienced substantial growth. He has remained on board for several months to help with the handover and will help out as a consultant to Al Laith on some key projects.

Divisional manager Tim Richards said: "Michael is a highly experienced and dedicated service manager. He is focused on maintaining the high quality of the Al Laith AWP rental fleet, which is still relatively young and we will keep the average age low. He has a great right-hand man in Mr Pavithran and they make a good team."

"Ray has given us years of excellent service and it was typical of him to offer to stay on to ensure a really smooth hand over to Michael. We wish him well in his retirement and are delighted that he will still be working with us, on a part-time consultancy basis."
