Nano SPs for Gunco

Dutch rental company Gunco, part of the TVH group, has purchased a large number of Power Towers Nano SP self-propelled low level work platforms.

The units are destined for the company’s Rotterdam branch and were sold and delivered by the manufacturer’s distributor, Power Towers Netherlands.

The Nano SP offers a working height of up to 4.5 metres and includes a 500mm roll-out extension which extends the standard one metre long platform to 1.5 metres.

The new Nano fleet is intended to meet demand from an increasing number of end users working in multi-floor buildings, which are beginning to look towards low level powered access in order to improve safety and productivity.

Vertikal Comment

This order is significant in that the market for low level powered access is still relatively small in the Netherlands (and most other continental European countries) which has a high penetration of low level alloy scaffold towers and bases.

One assumes that if these machines are as successful as Gunco expects it will not only encourage others to come into the market, but that encourage TVH to add machines to their other rental businesses in Europe.
