Zoomlion acquires M-tec

Chinese crane and concrete equipment manufacturer Zoomlion has acquired German dry mortar equipment producer M-Tec from St Gobain.

According to Zoomlion the deal was completed just before Christmas. Zoomlion is listed on the Hong Kong and Shenzhen stock exchanges and controlled by the government of Hunan province.

M-Tec is headquartered in Neuenburg, Germany and has subsidiary companies in eight other countries, including China, it was founded in 1978.
