NCSG may sell

Canadian crane group - NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services - has reportedly hired advisers to explore the sale of the company.

We understand that it has retained Goldman Sachs to explore opportunities to sell the business. Valuations range between $750 million to $1 billion.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, the NCSG group of companies includes NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services (formerly Northern Crane), Mullen Crane & Transport, Trans Tech Contracting and Scorpion Industries. It also recently acquired the assets of Doug's Crane of Prince Rupert, British Columbia, from Broadwater Industries.

Formed more than 25 years ago NCSG has provided mobile crane rental and heavy haul services throughout western North America. The company now has more than 470 employees and a fleet of more than 270 mobile cranes.
