Third centre for ALS Safety

UK based IPAF and PASMA accredited training company ALS Safety has opened a new training centre in Hunslet, Leeds. With a total of three training centres, this is the first to be outside of London.

The all weather indoor training centre offers both PASMA and IPAF accredited courses as well as bespoke working at height courses which include crane rescue, working on a leading edge and harness training. The company said it also plans to offer CITB, SMSTS and SSSTS as well as City and Guilds confined space training in the near future.

ALS owner Darren Verschuren said: “We have achieved growth within a recession of around 35 percent year on year. Having traded for approximately three years now, in our opinion, our growth is due to our flexible approach. We offer training seven days a week at all of our centres meaning that our customers who do not want to take a day off from work can have training carried out over the weekend. Our business plan is to have national coverage within the next two years with training centres strategically placed in the major cities within the UK.”
