Crane on fire
A mobile tower crane caught fire this morning on London’s M25 orbital road in the UK.
The crane looks like a five axle Spierings owned by local crane company City Lifting, and given its blue colour, one of the units acquired from K-Lift following its demise. The crane pulled over onto the hard shoulder and we understand that no one was hurt in the incident.
Traffic news reports say that the fire has now been extinguished and that the two lanes that were closed have now been reopened.

It's been an expensive last 10 days for City Lifting - poor guys - lets hope these things don't come in three's like the old adage would suggest !
