Mammoet chief executive Jan Kleijn said: “We meet a lot of demand for transport solutions around the world. The substantial acquisition is a strategic investment in Mammoet’s fleet. The contract is the largest SPMT deal for both Mammoet and Scheuerle.”

“SPMTs are an important part of our fleet and play a pivotal role in engineering solutions and safe delivery of our services - which are all about helping our customers improve construction efficiency and optimise the uptime of their plants and installations,” added Herman Smit, chief operating officer of Mammoet.

First deliveries are due early next year and should be completed before the end of the second quarter.
