LTC 1045 for Kurth

German crane rental company Kurth Cranes has taken delivery of a 45 tonne Liebherr LTC 1045-3.1 All Terrain crane.

Designed as the ultimate ‘taxi’ crane the three axle 1045-3.1 has a total weight of 36 tonnes complete with its full 6.5 tonnes of counterweight, its bi-fold swingaway extension and hook block.

Kurth’s chief executive Marcel Kurth said: “We were convinced by the unique steering system and the excellent load values in this class.”

Kurth Cranes' 45 tonne Liebherr LTC 1045-3.1

Based in Blankenheim the company has a fleet of around 20 cranes topped by a 500 tonner. It also operates an access rental service which provides boom and scissor lifts as well as truck mounted aerial lifts from its second depot in Prüm. Kurth also offers a recovery and transportation service.
