New appointment for AWES

Ainscough Wind Energy Services (AWES) has appointed Gavin McEvoy as technical sales manager.

McEvoy has worked in the crane and lifting environment for more than 25 years including Ainscough Crane Hire. He also held positions with Mammoet and Ainscough Vanguard.

Steve Wathen, commercial director at AWES, said: “It’s really great to have Gavin on board and I am sure he will be an asset to the team. We are committed to increasing the long term viability of AWES and a dedicated commercial team will help us to achieve this.”

Gavin McEvoy
