Brian Sherlock joins Hire Station

UK based rental company Hire Station appointed Brian Sherlock as managing director of its Core Tools business earlier this year.

Hire Station, owned by Vp which also owns UK Forks, has in the past year or two moved into access in a substantial way, with a strong focus on low level powered access.

Sherlock started his career in the retail business, working with House of Frazer
and then Marks and Spencers, before joining Hewden in 2002 and moving on to become managing director in 2005. He departed suddenly in mid 2008. Since then he has been working as a consultant both with the Swan Group and his own business Spa Asset management in which he joined up with ex-Hewden colleague Alan Huddart.
