Crane overturns in Maryland

A lattice crawler crane overturned in downtown Salisbury, Maryland, on Monday.

The mid-range Hitachi crane went over sideways, but apart from the photo we have very little information about what happened. We know the crane’s boom came down across the river, striking some overhead cables and bringing down a pole, but not much else.

Looking at the photo it is possible that the crawler also took a small mobile crane with it. If you witnessed the incident on Monday perhaps you would let us know exactly what happened.
