Hochmuth takes first Omme 2500 RXBDJ

German crane and access rental company Hochmuth has taken delivery of the first 25 metre Omme Lift 2500 RXBDJ articulated boom spider lift.

The 2500 RXBDJ features a heavy duty dual arm sigma type riser, four section telescopic boom and a 1.4 metre articulated jib. Offering an outreach of up to 12.8 metres with a seven metre up and over reach, the fully unrestricted outreach is 10 metres with its full 200kg platform capacity.

Its overall length for transport is 6.55 metres, however this can be reduced to 5.95 metres thanks to the quick disconnect basket. Weighing 3,950kg it has an overall width of 1.1 metres and is just over two metres high.

Hochmuth managing director Stefan Drischberger said: “It’s good overall parameters and excellent up and over capabilities convinced us to go with the 2500 RXBDJ. The fact that it has a diesel engine for outdoor use and a battery pack - which does not need to connect to the mains - for indoor use was another contributing factor.”
