Hertz Dayim opens Saudi facility

The joint venture between Hertz Equipment Rental and Dayim Holdings – Hertz Dayim – has opened a new depot in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia servicing the country’s western province.

Located in the south-east of Jeddah, the 10,000 square metre facility will offer a range of equipment and tools which include mast and articulating booms, scaffold towers, forklifts and telehandlers, to the petrochemical, oil and gas, government, military, construction and industrial sectors.

Hertz Equipment president Lois Boyd said: "Hertz Dayim is continuing its rapid growth across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to meet strong demand. The aim of our new Jeddah operations is to provide customers a first class, value-added equipment rental supplier in the western province of Saudi Arabia. The move also positions Hertz Dayim for further strong growth opportunities in the region."

Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan, chairman of Hertz Dayim, added: "The expansion is another milestone in our endeavour to make Hertz Dayim one of the largest equipment rental companies in Saudi Arabia. The new branch in Jeddah will be ideally placed to cater to the equipment needs of the large number of infrastructure and construction projects in the western province."

Established in 2010 the joint venture between Hertz Equipment Rental and Saudi Arabian based Dayim Holdings was set up to provide rental equipment to construction and industrial markets throughout Saudi Arabia.
