Ramirent outsources scaffold erection

Ramirent Finland has signed an agreement to outsource all of its scaffold erection and installation work to Barona.

As part of the deal, the company will take on the 35 permanent Ramirent employees that are currently employed as scaffold erectors in Finland.
The co-operation agreement with Barona will employ around 300 scaffolders annually.

Jorma Korhonen, head of project business unit in Ramirent Finland said: “Our target is to ensure, that we will have the capability to provide our customers with competitive, high-quality and flexible scaffolding and access solutions in whole of Finland. The co-operation with Barona allows us to focus on project management and supervision, developing our core solutions further and strengthen our position in the market, while maintaining access to skilled scaffolders. “

Timo Ahola, vice president of Barona Construction added: “We are delighted to be chosen as Ramirent’s strategic partner and deepen our long cooperation. Our vast experience in scaffolding installations and providing HR services ensures meeting Ramirent’s and its customers’ high quality requirements also in the future.
