Webasto appoints market manager

UK division of automotive component manufacturer Webasto has appointed Jason Tyres as its new market manager for its off highway and defence products.
Tyres has over 10 years experience in the commercial tyre industry, having previously worked at Bridgestone and Goodyear Dunlop.

Steve Powell, Webasto’s sales and marketing director, said: “Webasto has a solid reputation within these market segments and we are focused on supporting and developing them. We are proud to continue to invest heavily in these markets to ensure their continued success and profitability.”

Established in 1901 the German based company provides sunroofs, roof ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems to the automotive and marine aftermarket. It has over 50 locations throughout the world of which more than 30 are production sites.
