New MD for Holland Lift

The new owners of Holland Lift - Pro-Delta have appointed Eline Oudenbroek as managing director. She is currently working through a transition period with current – interim - managing director Thom Sijs who will depart at the start of September.

Oudenbroek joins the company after two and a half years with Elysee Dental Solutions, where she was managing director. Before that she spent more than five years with Gelderblom CNC machines where she was operations director.

Eline Oudenbroek

A chemical engineer by training, she began her career with food and chemical packaging company Thomassen & Drijver and over the next seven years held a number of increasingly senior roles, including head of industrial engineering, production manager and manager operations. In 2001 she moved to the Royal Dutch Mint with roles from marketing to production. During this time she also took a ‘Change Management’ course.

Sijs was appointed in late March after the new investors and previous majority owner/managing director Menno Koel agreed to part company. His appointment was always on an interim basis.

Vertikal Comment

Oudenbroek looks to be a very accomplished manager with experience across a number of sectors and roles, including a good deal of production expertise. It is also good to see another female manager in a senior industry position.

On the other hand Sijs might just be wishing that he had not joined up on an interim basis, as he has accomplished a good deal during his short tenure, and judging on his attitude at trade shows and when mixing with customers, appears to have developed a certain fondness for the access industry. You never know it might just have infiltrated his bloodstream as the crane and access industries tend to do.

Given some of the latest moves it looks like Holland Lift may have a very bright future under the wing of Pro-Delta.
