Merlo expands in N.Ireland

Merlo has appointed three dealers in Northern Ireland, including Sleator Plant and two agricultural dealers.

D.A. Forgie, based in Limavady will cover agricultural sales and product support, it also handles Kubota excavators and lawncare equipment and Case agricultural equipment. At the same time long time Merlo agricultural sub-dealer T McFarland Agri, based in County Tyrone now becomes a full blown Merlo dealer.

Finally County Antrim based Sleator Plant has been appointed my Merlo to cover sales and support for Merlo construction telehandlers throughout Northern Ireland. The company also represents Genie aerial work platforms, Atlas loader cranes, Terex dumpers and Case excavators. It is owned by Ballyvesey Holdings which also owns Southern Plant and Sky Platforms in England and Scotia Plant in Scotland.
