The new Bay Crane recently welcomed almost 1,500 enthusiastic people to an open house at its new Smithfield RI facility. The new 23,300 square metre / six acre facility falls between and supports the company’s locations in Boston, Massachusetts and North Haven Connecticut.

Having opened in the Northeast in 2008 Bay Crane has grown steadily to become the largest supplier of All Terrain, Rough Terrain and crawler cranes in the Northeast USA. The open house highlighted the company’s complete Tadano Rough Terrain line from 15 to 100 tons, while the All Terrain cranes were topped out by a 600 tonner, and the largest crawler cranes on show was the 300 tonne Liebherr LR 1300 with derrick attachment and suspended counterweight tray.
