Materials director for Talbert

Trailing boom and transport trailer specialist Talbert Trailer has appointed Rick Myers as director of materials, overseeing deliveries, material purchases, warranty fulfillment and after market parts.

Myers joins the company from Jost International, the manufacturer of fifth wheels, landing gears, kingpins and other trucking-related products, where he was operations and purchasing manager.

Talbert president Andy Tanner said: “Rick’s operational expertise and industry knowledge make him a great asset to the team. He brings real value to our company with his leadership skills and experience with lean manufacturing, six sigma, etc.”
