Two more AC100 for Crane Hire

Dublin, Ireland based Crane Hire Ltd ordered two 100 tonne Terex AC100 All Terrain cranes at Vertikal Days last week.

The new cranes, which will be delivered in September, take the company’s fleet of AC100s to six. The new units are equipped with a 50 metre main boom, 17 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, 32 tonnes of counterweight and 10 x 8 x 8 drive/steer configuration.

They will be employed by the family owned business throughout Ireland and the UK on a variety of lifts and, in particular, power-related projects. Director Jarlath O’Leary said: “Our existing AC100’s have been very successful machines and have proved themselves to be reliable, robust and extremely versatile. They are tireless workhorses and a mainstay of the fleet.”

“Having had direct, first-hand experience of both the cranes and Terex service and support - and being completely satisfied with both over a long period - it seemed only sensible to continue our long standing relationship with the Terex brand.”

Terex regional sales manager, Andrew Snow added: “Crane Hire prides itself on the quality of its fleet, its commitment to safety and its personal customer service. These are all attributes we are proud to be associated with.”
