Haynes retires from Tutt

Tat Hong has announced the retirement of David Haynes, managing director of its Tutt Bryant subsidiary in Australia, and head of all of the groups other Australian activities as chief executive Tat Hong Australia.

Haynes, 67, moved to Australia after leaving the British Army in 1987, he joined Tutt Bryant in 1996, shortly after it was acquired by Singapore based Tat-Hong.

David Haynes


He was appointed managing director in 1999 and has overseen a major expansion of the business since then. He was the face of the Tutt Bryant stock exchange listing in 2005 – the company de-listed in 2010 –and has overseen a number of acquisitions in the crane hire market since then.

Ng Chen Wei,35, takes over today as managing director of Tutt Bryant and chief executive Tat Hong Australia, having been promoted to deputy managing director earlier this year.
