Nationwide Platforms adds Multitel

UK based Nationwide Platforms has ordered a number of 20 metre Multitel MJ 201 telescopic truck mounted lifts from UK distributor Access Industries.

The first of the new units, painted in the Nationwide colours to its specification will be on show at Vertikal Days this week.

The Multitel MJ 201 is mounted on a Nissan Cabstar chassis and offers up to 12.6 metres of working outreach. The MJ 201 is a conventional front mounted telescopic boom with an unusual – for this size of lift - telescopic articulated jib.

The unit has an aluminium alloy sub-frame with permanently in line rear outriggers and H-frame front outriggers, which can also be deployed in the straight down position. In this in-board configurations it retains eights of outreach.

The front outriggers can be extended on just one side or on both sides, with the machines working area and platform capacity automatically adjusted to match.

Maximum platform capacity is 225kg to an outreach of 9.2 metres, after that the capacity is proportionately adjusted to suit the actual outreach. Platform rotation is a full 180 degrees and single button centring of the platform as an aide to stowing is standard. Options include single button automatic outrigger levelling and single button “return to stowed position.
