Spider lift for monastery

CTE has delivered a 23 metre Traccess 230 spider lift to Huize Bijdorp, a monastery located in Voorschoten, near the city of Den Haag in the Netherlands.

The lift was sold by CTE's Dutch distributor Custer Hydraulica, which is also providing the after sales support. It will be used to carry out maintenance and cleaning work on the monastery which has roots that date back to the 17th century.

The Traccess 230 offers a working height of up to 23 metres, an outreach of 12 metres and a platform capacity of 200 kg. The technical staff at the monastery said it chose the machine due to its working range, ease of use and unrestricted outreach. Other features include automatic levelling, double drive speed and dual track widths.
