Runaway crane transport

We received a short video yesterday of a crawler crane transport mishap that occurred last year in South America.

The crane comes over the hill

While not exactly news we thought it might provide a few tips for those of you who face this type of situation. The crane a 400 tonne Link Belt was being moved onto site on a large transporter when the hill began to get the better of it. No one was physically hurt in the incident.
