The four section main boom on the new crane is a handy 38.1 metres, which when fitted with a two part offsetable jib, has a 54.9 metre maximum tip height. An optional lattice jib base allows it to offset by 20 or 40 degrees. The hoist has a maximum single line pull of 6.8 tonnes.

The operator’s cab tilts 20 degrees for a clear view of high loads, while a single screen displays both engine and crane functions and parameters via an all new load moment indicator. All crane controls are operated with two dual axis joysticks for smooth easy operation.

The TC700 was designed from the ground up as a ‘global’ machine and is CE compliant from the start and designed to be fitted to trucks manufactured in various parts of the world with a sub-frame designed to be compatible with varying truck chassis rails and widths with either 12 or 24 volt electrical systems. Overseas it will be fitted to a four axle chassis, while five and six axle factory installed configurations will be available to the North American market.

Director of sales and marketing Randy Robertson said: “The TC700 is designed with operator comfort in mind. When your cab is your office, it’s got to be a comfortable place to work, we have designed the TC700 with more leg room, a wider interior, heated seats, and included many other features with available options to increase comfort, allowing operators to work more confidently and efficiently.”

“The TC700 is our most technologically advanced crane and is designed to help operators work more efficiently, comfortably and profitably. It’s only fitting we unveil the TC700 as we celebrate 25 years in business with our dealers and supporters who helped us reach this important milestone.”
