George Fitchett joins Skyjack

Canadian aerial lift and telehandler manufacturer Skyjack has appointed George Fitchett as a vice president of sales – national accounts.

He joins the company from Snorkel, where he was most recently vice president strategic accounts, having re-joined the business in 2005. He originally joined Snorkel in 1997, when it was owned by Omniquip and Textron and transferred to Textron’s Jacobsen division. He has also worked with Takeuchi.

He is currently based in the Richmond, Virginia area and will work alongside Dave Stewart and John Mooney, also vice presidents of North American national account sales, all reporting to Skyjack’s vice president of sales for the Americas, Brian Black.

Skyjack president Brad Boehler said: “the company is looking forward to benefiting from George’s extensive skills and experience, particularly with his sales background and management skills that have substantially grown sales to rental organisations at national levels.”

Fitchett added: “Skyjack has always been known for reliable products, for being responsive and developing sustainable relationships. I am looking forward to building on that firm foundation. I am particularly pleased that a number of past and potential customers have already highlighted Skyjack as a company that is extending a positive reputation.”
