Fatal crushing incident

Sadly we have to report another fatal incident this time with a scissor lift, which occurred at a Walmart store in Abbotsford, British Columbia in late January.

The man, employed by M&L painting was working on the outside canopy of the store on January 23rd, when he reportedly struck a fire sprinkler and was then trapped between the ceiling and the lift.

The emergency services rescued him and he was rushed to hospital and later moved to a trauma unit in New Westminster, where he died almost a week later form his injuries.
