Avtovaz adds new Valla

Russian car maker Actovaz has taken delivery of a new Valla 1725-22SD industrial pick & carry crane.

The new 10 tonne capacity battery powered crane offers 360 degree slew, a carry deck and an a three section main boom and four metre telescopic jib, which can be offset by up to 45 degrees. Maximum tip height with the jib is 14 metres. The crane will be used for loading and unloading work in hard to reach areas and in the facility’s workshops.

The company, previously known as Vaz (Volzhsky Avtomobilny Zavod) runs over 50 Valla cranes, most of them smaller non-slewing models that date back to the Soviet era. The company is now looking to renew its fleet and has a nine tonne 90D and 12 tonne 120D on order for delivery later this year. The crane was supplied by Valla distributor LTECH.
